FGMDA is proud to announce that Dima Cook, Senior Associate and Toronto office manager, has been selected as the Heritage Representative on the Design Review Panel of the City of Toronto—a three-year term. This panel is comprised of architects, urban planners and engineers who advise the City on development in the private and public sectors. This is yet another opportunity to contribute directly to the quality of heritage conservation in Toronto, as all major development projects must be presented to this committee before they can be rolled out.
The ribbon cutting ceremony at the Elgin County Courthouse (or St. Thomas Consolidated Courthouse, as it was called during construction) was held on March 18th in St. Thomas, Ontario. The event celebrated the completion of the rehabilitation and complete restoration of the heritage courthouse, and of its addition. Read more+
